Meet Us

We are Sarah and Colin, co-owners and photographers of Waldorf Photography. We met in 2014 and were married in 2016. We have two sons, Sawyer and Sutton. Colin's primary career is as a corporate pilot and Sarah is a former special education teacher, now working as a special education consultant. In the fall of 2022, while living in Independence, Iowa, we established our photography business. In June 2023, we relocated to Princeton, Iowa, where we are continuing to offer our photography services.

We became interested in photography after having our sons. Like most parents, we quickly realized how quickly the time passes, and we began to cherish photos of our family and our life together. Wanting to document all the milestones along the way, we frequently reached out to our most trusted family photographers! Shortly after having our second son, Sutton, in 2022, we began thinking more seriously about dabbling into the professional world of photography ourselves. Upon much deliberation, we finally purchased our first professional camera, began immersing ourselves in photography content & learning, started our portfolio, and never looked back. We hope to assist you soon with any and all of your photography needs!
